- February 28, 2017: Civil War Round Table member Daniel L. Smith gave a program on Edward F. Winslow, who led the 4th Iowa Cavalry brigade at the Battle of Westport. Dick Titterington has edited the unpublished Civil War memoirs of Edward F. Winslow and has published the book. Dan wrote the foreword for the book and has done quite a bit of research on the life of Winslow. Winslow is a fascinating individual. The talk was not specifically about battles, but rather a story of Winslow the man, kind of a Horatio Alger story. Congratulations to Arnold for recieving his well deserved battle scene!!
